NORTH BEND VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER WELCOMES NEW DIORAMA

Local Artists Peggy O'Neal and Larry Watson created this spectacular South Coast diorama.

The exhibits and improvemnts to the North Bend Information Center are a joint project of the City of North Bend and OCEAN, a nonprofit organization that supports natural and cultural education alonf the Southern Oregon Coast.

Funding for the exhibits come from the City of North Bend, Coos Bay North Bend Promotions & Conventions Bureau, the Coos Curry Souglas Regional Investment Board, members of OCEAN, the Southern Oregon Visitors Association, and the US Forest Service.

This special project was also supported in part by a grant from the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration with funds provided under section 306A of the Federal Coastal Zone Management Act.
